When doing non-artsy but essential stuff such as accounting, my brain gets zapped and I find it hard to get back into art mode. This last week was been like that, a week filled with essential mind numbing activities. My brain felt dead, but a craving to do something artsy bubbled through the morass of my once brain... to do something artsy that did not require my right brain to do much work, but the itch would be satisfied. So picked up my ipad, charged my pencil and opened Procreate...time to start learning it again (passively). So I decided to do a quick digital watercolour tutorial by Pretty Little Lines using her Living Watercolor brush pack ( really cool brushes with some nice watercolour paper) and followed the tutorial. After that I still wanted to paint some more so I used one of her practiced line arts, the poppies, and did this little digital painting :).
